The Causton family has been turning on the train and serving up home cooked food in the Langley core for around 19 years – we may have lost track of a year or two! Owned and operated by brothers Doug and Terry, they soon learned they couldn’t do it all on their own, and brought Terry’s daughter Meaghan in to help run the show. Terry’s wife Helene can be seen behind the bar most weekends, pouring some amazing local beers and wines or churning out our famous milkshakes, and in the office during the week. As word spread about their secret recipe burger patties, hand pounded schnitzels, homemade soups 'n' sauces, and delectable desserts made from scratch, the Causton’s quickly had to adopt family members to keep up!
Soon, Doug and Terry didn’t feel one train was enough. So the brothers started collecting, and when they had enough they added 2 more train tracks. That brings the running total to 3, and a whole lot of extras they share with all the little conductors-in-training that come in.
The Causton family has been proud to share their traditions with Langley for nearly two decades.
